Avicenna (Est. 2023)

Our batch, Avicenna, was established in 2023 and currently comprises 202 passionate future doctors. Inspired by Avicenna (Ibn Sina)—the most prominent physician and philosopher of the Islamic Golden Age—our batch name reflects our aspiration to be well-rounded, knowledgeable, and skilled in the medical profession. The logo carries deep meaning: the crescent symbolizes growth and guidance, the bold “A” and “V” stand for Avicenna and unity within our batch, while the Rod of Asclepius represents medicine and our commitment to healing. Together, the elements reflect our shared journey of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to becoming good and safe doctors. Though we come from diverse backgrounds, we are united in our pursuit of excellence and lifelong learning in medicine.
