On 28th September 2025, the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS) was honored with a Token of Appreciation for its role as a Supporting Partner in The STARLZ Odyssey: Pulse of Compassion, Art of Renewal. The recognition was a testament to MUGS’ commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations and contributing towards impactful initiatives that blend compassion, creativity, and renewal.
The award was presented to Ms.Nuralya Maisarah, Head of External Liaison, who was accompanied by Assistant Head of Department, Ms. Fatimah Zaharah, and MUGS Alumni Member, Mr. Muhammad Yamin. Their presence represented the collective efforts of MUGS in supporting events that inspire growth and engagement beyond academics.
This recognition highlights MUGS’ dedication not only to the academic and professional development of medical students but also to initiatives that promote community spirit, wellness, and holistic development.
PRECISION IN PRACTICE SURGMED SUMMIT (PIPSS) 2025 TOKEN OF APPRECIATION FROM PLATINUM SPONSOR, MUN
On 19th July 2025, the Precision in Practice SurgMed Summit (PIPSS) concluded its first day of activities with a meaningful gesture of gratitude. During the Day 1 closing ceremony held at UG10, a token of appreciation was presented by our Platinum Sponsor, MUN, a subsidiary of Hartalega, in acknowledgment of the summit’s success and collaborative efforts.
The token was presented to Dr. Thamilvaani, Advisor of Internal Operations of PIPSS, who was accompanied by Ms. Rashmikka Devi, Organising Chairperson of PIPSS & also Vice President I of MUGS 24/25. LTD NEUROVIA TOKEN OF APPRECIATION FROM PIBG SMK PUTRAJAYA PRESINT (2)
On 5th July 2025, Mr. Wan Aqeef Ahwaz, Director of LTD Neurovia, together with his dedicated committee, successfully carried out a gotong-royong (community clean-up) at SMK Putrajaya Presint 9(2) as part of their ongoing community service mission. The initiative aimed to foster a cleaner and more sustainable school environment while strengthening the spirit of collaboration between students and the local community.
In recognition of their efforts, the committee was presented with a token of appreciation by the YB PIBG of SMK Putrajaya Presint 9(2), symbolizing gratitude and acknowledgment of their meaningful contribution.
UoC CLUBS & SOCIETIES AWARD DAY 2024
On 20th October 2024, the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS) proudly secured 3rd place under the Faculty-Based Cluster at the University of Cyberjaya Clubs and Societies Awards 2024. This recognition reflects the society’s commitment to excellence in organizing impactful academic, social, and community-driven initiatives that enrich student life within the Faculty of Medicine.
The award was received on behalf of MUGS by Dr. Hanna binti Hasri, President of MUGS 24/25, together with Dr. Umar Hilman, Vice President II, other MUGS subcommittee members, representing the collective spirit and dedication of the society.
