The day featured a dynamic lineup of activities, including traditional performances, music showcases, exhibitions, and cultural presentations, offering participants and attendees an opportunity to experience the richness of traditions from across the globe. By spotlighting both local and international cultures, the event emphasized unity, respect, and appreciation for the differences that make the UoC community unique.

At its core, DiverCity 2.0 aimed to foster meaningful connections among students, creating an avenue for them to share cultural knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop cross-cultural communication skills. Beyond being a celebration, it served as a platform for building a strong sense of belonging and inclusivity within the university, where students felt empowered to express themselves freely and take pride in their identities.

The event successfully attracted around 200 participants and ran over the course of one full day, drawing not only performers and contributors but also enthusiastic onlookers, faculty members, and peers. For many, it was a chance to deepen their understanding of global traditions, strengthen social bonds, and embrace togetherness within the university community.
