LE TOUR DE TROIZEANS 2024
Le Tour De Troizeans 2024 was an initiative by the Year 2 MBBS Session 23/24 batch, Troizeans, under the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS). The event combined community service and batch bonding, with the aim of contributing to the well-being of the local community while fostering stronger ties among students at the start of their medical journey.
At Kampung Sentosa, students participated in a Gotong Royong and communal cooking session, preparing meals for the local villagers. This was followed by food distribution, creating moments of connection and service. The activities not only highlighted teamwork and responsibility but also allowed participants to experience the warmth of working hand in hand with the community.
The second half of the program took place at Semenyih Ecoventure, where students engaged in bonding activities such as Gajah Lapau and the Water Transporter game. They also had the chance to take part in adventure-based challenges including ATV, paintball, kayaking, and flying fox. The day concluded with a campfire closing ceremony, where participants reflected on their shared experiences and celebrated the success of the event.
Through this program, LTD Troizeans demonstrated its commitment to fostering empathy, teamwork, and community service while creating meaningful memories for both students and the communities they served in Kampung Labohan Dagang, the program featured four impactful activities: Morning Zumba to encourage fitness and active living, Free Medical Check-Up with health awareness booths to promote early detection of underlying health conditions, Hygiene Kit Distribution to support healthy daily practices, and a Gotong-Royong session to enhance community spirit and cleanliness.
With the participation of 230 medical students, Le Tour De Troizeans successfully blended service, wellness, and teamwork. The event not only benefited the villagers of Kampung Labohan Dagang but also provided students with meaningful opportunities to practice compassion, leadership, and collaboration outside the classroom.
