MUGS VENDOR VOYAGE 2024

The MUGS Vendor Voyage 2024, organized by the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS), was held from 11th to 14th November 2024 at the UG Courtyard, University of Cyberjaya. The four-day event brought together 747 participants, including medical students, students from other faculties, external vendors, and MUGS members, making it one of the most impactful entrepreneurial initiatives of the year.

This flagship project was founded and initiated by Ms. Rashmikka Devi, Vice President I of MUGS that is designed to cultivate entrepreneurial skills among medical students while exposing them to the fundamentals of business and innovation. Through this event, participants were inspired to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway alongside their medical profession. The Vendor Voyage also created a vibrant marketplace that fostered collaboration between students and external vendors, offering a diverse range of products from food and beverages to accessories and lifestyle goods.

Each day, vendors set up booths in the morning, followed by a full day of trading and interaction. The event provided an engaging platform for students to develop communication, leadership, and business management skills, while external vendors benefited from the exposure and networking opportunities within the university community.

The program was highly beneficial, as it not only encouraged entrepreneurial exploration but also drastically increased the club funds. By bridging academia and entrepreneurship, MUGS Vendor Voyage highlighted the importance of adaptability and creativity in shaping future healthcare professionals.
