MUGS STUDY CIRCUIT: CLINICAL SYNC (TROIZEANS X AVICENNA)

On 9th October 2025, the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS) successfully conducted the fourth MUGS Study Circuit: Clinical Sync, a sharing session from Troizeans seniors to Avicenna juniors at LTUG 14, UG Level from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. This initiative was organized to support Year 2 students transitioning into their Year 3 clinical phase, ensuring they are better equipped for the challenges of ward-based learning.

The session began with welcoming remarks, followed by a comprehensive sharing session led by Troizeans seniors, who provided practical insights on various components of clinical postings. These included TBLs, BSTs, CWUs, EOPs, EOS assessments, clerking, lecturer sessions, operating theatre exposure, and logbook requirements. Beyond academics, seniors also shared valuable study tips, resource recommendations, and time management strategies that can help juniors strike a balance between academics, well-being, and extracurricular commitments.

An interactive Q&A session allowed juniors to raise questions, seek clarifications, and gain reassurance directly from their seniors. The atmosphere was friendly and supportive, fostering stronger bonds between juniors and seniors while easing anxieties about the clinical transition.

The event concluded with closing remarks, highlighting the importance of mentorship, peer guidance, and shared experiences in cultivating confidence and readiness for clinical years..
